"Accessories Scene: Paris Fashion Week Fall 2016" by Roxanne Robinson.
Necessity is the mother of invention, and so it was with Myriam Schaefer, who wanted a simple hands-free bag just big enough to carry her phone, wallet and cigarettes.
She launched the Valpon (named for her sweet pooch), a boxy structured flap bag worn as a cross-body with guitar-style shoulder strap, which is fast becoming a trend in handbags.
To get the perfect strap, Schaefer researched real guitar straps at music shops in her native Switzerland.
She also offered denim for the first time, shown on the Byron and the Cartland.
